Image rotate & flip

Rotate PNG, JPEG or WebP images clockwise and mirror horizontally in your browser. Export one PNG or process up to 10 images into a ZIP.

PROCESSED ON YOUR DEVICE

Ready when you are.

◎ No uploads. Your input stays here.↗ Free to use. No account needed.⌘ / Ctrl + Enter to run

A worked example

A quarter turn exchanges width and height. No rotation with flip on produces a horizontal mirror.

Input / settings

A 1200 × 800 image
Rotation: 90° clockwise; flip: off

Expected result

An 800 × 1200 PNG
A LITTLE GUIDANCE

How to use Image rotate & flip

Choose one or more images, select a clockwise rotation and optionally Flip horizontally, then select Rotate image. Choose No rotation for a mirror-only operation. Download one PNG or a ZIP of successful results.

Good to know

Choose up to 10 files / 30 MB combined; each file must be PNG, JPEG or WebP, at most 20 MB and 40 megapixels. Processing stays in your browser. Animation and original metadata are not preserved. Keep your originals.

A few quick answers.

Will an animated image remain animated?

No. These canvas-based tools export a single still image. Use a dedicated animation editor to preserve multiple frames.

Is my input sent to a server?

No. This tool processes your input in your browser. We don't store your text, files or results. Standard website access logs are separate; read our privacy notes.

Can I use it for free?

Yes. No account, subscription or usage credits are required.

How do I keep my result?

Use Copy or Download after running the tool. Inputs are not saved automatically and disappear when you leave or refresh the page.

Image workflow and quality guide

Rotation and flip order

A 1200 × 800 image rotated 90° clockwise becomes 800 × 1200. A 180° turn keeps the dimensions. Horizontal flipping applies in the output’s coordinate system after rotation: it mirrors the rotated picture from left to right.

Mirror without rotating

Select No rotation and enable Flip horizontally to create a left-to-right mirror. With both rotation and flip disabled, the tool still re-encodes the image as PNG; it is not a byte-for-byte copy.

PNG export is not lossless JPEG rotation

The tool decodes the original and exports rendered pixels as PNG. It does not rotate JPEG coefficients in place or retain the original metadata. PNG can be much larger than the input JPEG. Animation becomes one still frame; keep the source file.

Batch results and ZIP contents

The same settings apply to every selected image. Review each result: a batch may contain both successful and failed files. The ZIP includes successful images and results.txt with the report; it does not silently include failed originals. Batch output is bounded to 100 MB. If a limit is reached, use smaller batches. ZIP packaging does not add image-quality loss.

Choose your next step: resize dimensions, change image format, compare compression or rotate and mirror. Download the result before opening it in another tool.

Keep your flow going.
