Image resizer

Resize up to 10 images locally and download one ZIP. Set pixel dimensions, keep aspect ratio and review each result. No image uploads.

A worked example

Height follows the original 16:9 ratio. Output size in bytes depends on the source image.

Input / settings

A 1600 × 900 image
Width: 1200; Keep aspect ratio: on

Expected result

1200 × 675 pixels
A LITTLE GUIDANCE

How to use Image resizer

Choose one image or a batch, enter a width and select Resize image. Keep aspect ratio calculates each image’s height from its own dimensions; turn it off to set both dimensions. Download one PNG, or a ZIP for multiple images.

Good to know

Choose up to 10 files / 30 MB combined; each file must be PNG, JPEG or WebP, at most 20 MB and 40 megapixels. Processing stays in your browser. Animation and original metadata are not preserved. Keep your originals.

A few quick answers.

Why can I not edit the height?

Keep aspect ratio is enabled. Width determines height from the original image; disable it only when you intentionally want to stretch the image.

Is my input sent to a server?

No. This tool processes your input in your browser. We don't store your text, files or results. Standard website access logs are separate; read our privacy notes.

Can I use it for free?

Yes. No account, subscription or usage credits are required.

How do I keep my result?

Use Copy or Download after running the tool. Inputs are not saved automatically and disappear when you leave or refresh the page.

Image workflow and quality guide

Pixels are not file size

A 1600 × 900 image resized to width 1200 becomes 1200 × 675 with aspect ratio enabled. A portrait image in the same batch gets a different height. The output is PNG: fewer pixels do not guarantee fewer bytes than a compressed JPEG source.

Avoid stretching and unnecessary upscaling

Unlocking the ratio forces every image to your width and height, which can distort faces or logos. Enlarging an image interpolates pixels; it does not recover missing detail. Output dimensions must be whole numbers, at most 10,000 per side and 40 megapixels.

Resize, then choose an export format

Use the converter for JPEG or WebP output, or the compressor to compare lossy quality settings. Download and select the result in the next tool; files are not transferred between tools automatically.

Batch results and ZIP contents

The same settings apply to every selected image. Review each result: a batch may contain both successful and failed files. The ZIP includes successful images and results.txt with the report; it does not silently include failed originals. Batch output is bounded to 100 MB. If a limit is reached, use smaller batches. ZIP packaging does not add image-quality loss.

Choose your next step: resize dimensions, change image format, compare compression or rotate and mirror. Download the result before opening it in another tool.

Keep your flow going.
